Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Woodbridge, California. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts, as ordered by physicians.
Key Responsibilities- Position and instruct patients prior to examination, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Adjust x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.
- Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explaining procedures to patients and answering their questions.
- Prepare equipment for use as needed and prepare examination rooms for patient exams.
- Monitor patients and ensure their safety during exams, producing diagnostic images and documenting exam information.
- Report important information to physicians and verify exams on PACS.
- Associate's Degree in radiological technology (preferred).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification (required).
- Radiologic Tech (RT) certification in the state of practice (required in CA and HI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred).
