Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the accounting department, including overseeing daily operations, staff management, and professional development.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, reports, and records in accordance with GAAP or other applicable standards.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational standards.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations for financial planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinate and oversee external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion and addressing any issues or recommendations.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial management and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred.
  • Extensive experience in accounting, including management or leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
