Product Guide (Sales Representative) – Luxury Automobile

Jaguar Land Rover Portland, a Don Rasmussen Company, one of Portland’s oldest and most respected automobile retailers, established in 1950. JLR Portland recently finalized construction on the world’s finest Jaguar Land Rover retail facility and is embarked on its most exciting chapter in its 73-year history. Selling the Jaguar Land Rover collection of Defender, Discovery, Range Rover and Jaguar which are on the leading edge of the Modern Luxury Experience for the automotive consumer.

Seeking true professionals to join our Sales team. While selling skills are certainly important, such experience is not necessarily required in the automobile industry. The successful candidate will have the ability to think strategically, demonstrate a genuine interest in truly understanding the needs of other people, and have a commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences in every interaction.

Individuals with the relevant skills, experience and desire to succeed in a professional luxury retail environment are encouraged to consider this opportunity. Here are some of the qualities and characteristics that will lead to success:

  • Ease and confidence presenting sophisticated luxury products (Jaguar Land Rover product specific training will be provided)
  • Knowledge and/or ability to work with and present financial arrangements
  • Enthusiasm and a competitive spirit
  • Creativity and ability to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Comfortable using and explaining modern technology
  • Enjoy working with a team environment
  • Must be able to work weekends

JLR Portland practices a transparent, single point of contact sales process that includes hassle-free pricing. Customers are presented the best price up front and are not subjected to haggling, pressure or turnover. Instead, Product Guides assist customers to determine which Jaguar Land Rover product meets their individual requirements.

This is a career opportunity. Our Product Guide (Sales) compensation structure is unique in the industry, offering a generous income opportunity. Product Guides are paid an hourly wage, plus individual incentives, and team bonuses, with a monthly guarantee.
