As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in improving CUI management processes, developing marking strategies, and enhancing data governance across the agency. You will work closely with various departments to analyze, design, and implement solutions that optimize our handling of controlled unclassified information.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze metadata for CUI marking and optimize information management systems
  • Develop guidance and business rules for specific CUI categories
  • Assess CUI marking configurations and unit-level business rules
  • Identify potential CUI concerns in new applications and technologies
  • Create process flows, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation
  • Research and implement CUI best practices
  • Analyze organizational risks related to controlled information handling


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business, technology, or software analysis
  • Strong background in information technologies and business process analysis
  • Proficiency in creating project analysis and business requirements using tools like Visio
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision


Desired Skills:


  • Experience in information-related program management
  • Prior work with government agencies
  • International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certification


This is a Remote position

Work Days: Monday - Friday (40hr a week)
Normal duty hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (time may be adjusted accordingly), Monday through Friday (excluding Federal Holidays).
