Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Network Security Infrastructure:

    • Design, implement, and manage network security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and web application firewalls (WAF).
  2. Security Assessments and Audits:

    • Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and recommend security enhancements.
    • Perform penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and security assessments of network infrastructure and applications.
  3. Incident Response and Monitoring:

    • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and security incidents.
    • Respond to security incidents, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  4. Security Policies and Procedures:

    • Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001).

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with firewall administration, VPN technologies, IDS/IPS, WAF, and network access control (NAC) solutions.

Education and Experience:
