In this part-time role, you will be responsible for managing a caseload and providing neurofeedback services primarily through in-person sessions, with some telehealth options available. Known for our reputable approach, our center is a highly respected destination for healthcare providers and mental health professionals across the country. Our patients are committed to their healing journey; a comprehensive phone assessment ensures compatibility for successful treatment outcomes, allowing clinicians to provide effective care and discharge patients. Compensation:

$30 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one counseling sessions treating trauma-related issues
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of patients undergoing neurofeedback treatment
  • Perform intake assessments for individuals seeking neurofeedback therapy
  • Conduct therapy sessions for individuals managing PTSD, depression, and anxiety
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Engage in clinical consultations and participate in Neurofeedback clinical rounds and educational training sessions
  • Develop expertise in combining neurofeedback with EMDR and other therapeutic modalities
  • Demonstrate punctuality, consistency, and strong organizational skills
Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate must hold an Associate-level license in psychotherapy specific to Connecticut, such as LMSW or LPCA
  • Training in EMDR or other trauma-focused therapies is required, or the willingness to undergo such training
  • Adherence to ethical standards within the field is a must
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential
  • Proficiency in utilizing an Electronic Health Record and timely documentation is preferred
  • Strong commitment to collaborative teamwork is necessary
  • Openness to developing and enhancing clinical practice is expected
  • Ability to adapt to changing clinical requirements is crucial
  • Availability to work during later afternoons, early evenings, and Saturdays is required
