The Center for NeuroPotential specializes in evidence-based, trauma-focused therapy and neurofeedback. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of 15-18 clients and providing neurofeedback services primarily through in-person sessions, with some telehealth options available. Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to address trauma-related issues in individuals
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of patients undergoing neurofeedback treatment
- Conduct intake evaluations for individuals seeking neurofeedback therapy services
- Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals managing PTSD, depression, and anxiety
- Manage a caseload of 15-18 clients effectively
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
- Participate in clinical consultations, Neurofeedback clinical rounds, and educational training sessions
- Acquire specialized knowledge in integrating neurofeedback with EMDR and other therapeutic approaches
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, consistency, and punctuality
- Candidates applying for the Part-Time Associate Licensed Therapist position in Branford, CT, US should hold an Associate-level license in psychotherapy specific to Connecticut, such as LMSW or LPCA.
- Successful applicants must have received training in EMDR or other trauma-focused therapies, or be willing to undergo such training.
- Ethical standards adherence within the field of psychotherapy is a must for all candidates.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are a fundamental requirement for this role.
- Proficiency in utilizing an Electronic Health Record and maintaining timely documentation is highly preferred.
- A strong dedication to collaborative teamwork is essential for success in this position.
- The ideal candidate will be open to developing and improving their clinical practice continuously.
- Adaptability to changing clinical requirements is vital for ensuring effective patient care.
- Availability to work during late afternoons, early evenings, and Saturdays is mandatory for this position.
