  • Rapidly respond and follow up on customers’ inquiries for component &/or repair quotations, pricing justifications, documentation, and delivery status.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration as required (Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, Operations, Quality) to provide customers with a timely quotation.
  • Ensure adequate flow down on booked orders to cross functional teams (Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, Operations, Quality) as required for order execution.
  • Work closely with Business Segment Directors and Customer Service Manager to proactively plan to improve quotation and delivery lead-times.
  • Manage the Return Materials Authorization (RMA) process.
  • Work with AM Sales team to actively follow up on open quotes to win business.
  • Facilitate customer engagement to support business change requirements or notices.
  • Support implementing of lean initiatives to improve process efficiencies.
  • Support growth and development of new Team Members.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer information within Salesforce and ERP systems.
  • Take a leading role in enhancing our customers’ experience including collaboration on future demands and onsite visits.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of inside and/or outside sales experience within the manufacturing industry
  • 2-year degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering component drawings
  • Previous experience working with Channel Partners preferred
  • Experience negotiating and interpreting contracts
  • Knowledge of government, export, and nuclear regulations
  • Familiarity with export shipping and letters of credit
  • Excellent technical aptitude, analytical, and detail oriented
  • High degree of written and verbal communication, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Service minded, proactively complete day-to-day tasks with the ability to work independently, and support both internal and external customers and teams
  • High level of interpersonal skills in a customer service environment
  • This position requires interaction with both internal and external customers, so the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management, peers, and clients is necessary
  • Have a level of project management experience.
  • Effectively worked in a matrix environment.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management Modules in an ERP system
  • Position will be in the United States and requires U.S. citizenship
  • Strong MS Office Suite skills
  • Understanding of products is a plus
  • Travel up to 10%, domestic and international
  • This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirement, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest you do not have dual citizenship.
