Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe regional parts manager is responsible for the maximization of revenue, EBITDA, and asset maximization across the parts operations in several locations. The regional Parts Manager is responsible for day to day parts operations at their “home” location, as well as providing coaching, training, and oversight in the assigned “satellite” locations. At all times, the regional Parts Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience for all customers.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:• Insure all processes are followed to insure accuracy of inventory and full utilization of the inventory assets• Maintain good customer relationships and high level of service.• Actively assist in or handle dispute resolutions and warranty situations promptly, to the satisfaction of the customer and the company.• Understand and track market pricing and make pricing recommendations• Actively participate in promotional activities.• Maintain minimum counter hours with proper staffing in accordance with the branches operating hours.• Maintain effective “point of purchase” displays of literature and/or materials.• Track “Lost Sales” and report recommended actions based on data.• Work with outside sales staff to understand customer requirements and satisfaction with the branches service and support.• Develop relationships with customers and outside sales staff that will help you to identify new and expand existing business.• Supervise and evaluate inside sales and warehousing staff. Understand their strengths, weaknesses and needs for development.• General Management responsibilities including staffing, training, safety, awareness and enforcement of company policies/procedures, administrative duties• Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge within your staff.• Provide daily reporting and all other duties assigned by the Regional Manager.• Actively promote a safe working environment in all facilities.SKILL REQUIREMENTS:• 5+ years of demonstrated successful heavy duty truck and trailer parts operations management.• A degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or other business-related discipline is preferred.• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services.• Must be an outstanding leader.• Must have excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.• Must be highly analytical and well organized, proficient with the use of computers and related software, customer service oriented• Must have strong decision-making, problem solving and time management skills.• Must be ethical in all job related activitiesBENEFITS:
