Job Description: As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our home care services. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the scheduling and coordination of care for our clients, while providing exceptional support to our paraprofessional staff, clients, and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help retain quality paraprofessional staff and home care clients by providing excellent staffing and operational support.
  • Maintain communication with agency personnel, caregivers, and clients for the daily operations of the agency.
  • Assign and schedule staff for care and services.
  • Communicate all pertinent information regarding client care to assigned caregivers.
  • Schedule case coverage and inform necessary parties of changes.
  • Provide verification of timesheets for payroll and billing purposes, as necessary.
  • Maintain communication to strengthen relationships with referral sources.
  • Manage and ensure compliance with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
  • Coordinate care services efficiently across various regions.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in scheduling in a home care setting is required.
  • Bilingual - Spanish
  • Prior experience with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in scheduling, documentation, and compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, caregivers, and staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and electronic health records.
