Here, you’ll find a wide selection of new and used sporting, hunting and defense handguns, rifles and shotguns, as well as magazines, bags and cases, scopes and other optics, accessories, ammunition, and cleaning supplies.

 Job Summary:

Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers. This is 40 hour per week job.

 Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Record Transactions: Accurately record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain Financial Records: Keep and maintain general ledgers, tracking accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile Accounts: Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and credit card statements on a daily basis.
• Prepare Financial Reports: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Payroll Processing: Assist in processing payroll, ensuring all employee records are accurate and up to date.
• Budget Management: Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax filings, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations both State and Federal.
• Invoice Management: Generate and distribute invoices, follow up on outstanding payments.
• Expense Management: Track and manage company expenses, ensuring they are within budgetary constraints.
• Audit Preparation: Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Receive, record, and bank cash, checks, and vouchers.

 Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

·      Privacy and ability to move at a fast pace.

·      Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).

·      Strong knowledge of MS Office & Google Workspace, particularly Excel or sheets.

·      Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

·      Attention to detail and accuracy.

·      Strong organizational and time management skills.

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·      Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

·      Ability to Multitask and prioritize projects.

·      Quick adaptation and acceptance of new things.

 Education and Experience:

·      No degree required.

 Preferred Qualifications:

·      Certification in bookkeeping (ex: Certified Bookkeeper)

·      Preferred: Experience with gun store financial practice

 Physical Requirements:

·      Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working at a desk or computer.

·      Occasionally lift and move office supplies, files, and documents, typically weighing up to 20 pounds.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $15.00 - $20.00/hour.
