We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to lead the development and implementation of advanced data visualizations and business intelligence solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with analytics tools and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable insights. Responsibilities & other details are listed below:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the design and development of BI solutions, including dashboards, data models, and reports, to meet organizational objectives and enhance decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring that BI solutions align with strategic goals.
- Utilize advanced BI tools and techniques to find trends, identify errors, and optimize data for reporting and visualization purposes.
- Provide governance and documentation support, including policy and directive reviews, IT correspondence, surveys, and information updates, in alignment with organizational standards.
- Facilitate projects using agile methodologies, ensuring timely and effective delivery of BI solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Stay updated on the latest BI technologies and best practices, recommending enhancements to existing processes and tools.
ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Over 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, data analysis, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data modeling techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
- Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) SCI clearance.
