Venus Consulting is seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented Event Marketing Sales Person to assist with our participation in events across Canada and the USA. This is a contract-based role, with compensation based on the hours required during the event. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and outgoing individual with a passion for sales and event marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with event attendees to promote Venus Consulting's products/services and generate leads.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our offerings and highlight key features and benefits.
  • Actively approach potential customers to initiate conversations and build rapport.
  • Qualify leads and gather contact information for follow-up by the sales team.
  • Assist with booth setup and teardown, including signage, promotional materials, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging messaging and promotional materials for the event.
  • Provide feedback and insights gathered from interactions with event attendees to inform future marketing and sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service, preferably in a retail or event environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Proactive and outgoing personality, with a passion for building relationships and driving results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours based on the requirements of each event.
  • Familiarity with event marketing concepts and strategies is a plus.
