Job Title: SFMC Developer Job Description:
Responsibilities:
1. Campaign Development: Design, build, and maintain marketing campaigns within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, ensuring they align with marketing goals and objectives.
2. Data Management: Manage and manipulate customer data, including segmentation, personalization, and data cleansing to support effective targeting and campaign execution.
3. Automation: Create and implement automation workflows, including triggered emails, drip campaigns, and customer journey automation, to enhance customer engagement and conversion rates.
4. Email Template Design: Develop responsive email templates using HTML and AMPscript, ensuring they are visually appealing and rendering correctly across various email clients and devices.
5. A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize email content, subject lines, and send times for better engagement and conversion rates.
6. Integration: Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other systems and data sources, such as CRM systems, to ensure seamless data flow and unified customer profiles.
7. Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of campaigns and recommend improvements.
8. Compliance: Stay up-to-date with email marketing regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and ensure all campaigns are compliant with relevant laws and best practices.
9. Documentation: Maintain documentation of campaign processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference and team collaboration.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or related field.
Proven experience as an SFMC developer or similar role.
Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Contact Builder.
Strong HTML and AMPscript coding skills.
Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification (e.g., Email Specialist, Developer) is a plus.
Optional Skills:
Knowledge of Marketing Automation strategies and best practices.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and data integration.
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM.
