OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Storeroom Inventory Specialist to join our team in Newport Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, organizing stock, and ensuring accurate record-keeping within our storeroom facility.
Responsibilities- Handles requisitions, stocks, and delivers items to requesting departments.
- Receives and distributes special order items to the appropriate departments.
- Conducts weekly inventory checks of all supplies for ordering purposes.
- Keeps accurate records of inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Ensures supplies are consistently maintained at optimal levels, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Alerts the buyer and manager in advance of any supply shortages or surpluses.
- Receives and stores all products according to regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
- Oversees the acquisition, storage, flow, and tracking of all products.
- Manages the procurement, tracking, maintenance, and safeguarding of supplies.
- Collaborates with customers and supply chain staff to identify the best sources for products.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have inventory experience within the hospital. OR inventory experience preferred as this position will be working in perioperative environment.
- Proven experience in inventory management or related field
- Proficiency in using inventory management software is a plus
Salary info:
$20 - $23 / hr
