Centennial is currently in search of a Director of Business Operations for a global company headquartered in Mason, Ohio. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for driving operational excellence within the CTS North America Aftermarket business and coordinating processes and functions across CTS's global aftermarket operations. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping and implementing the company's global logistics strategy, from conception to execution. Additionally, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for internal collaboration, ensuring seamless coordination to achieve on-time delivery, precise forecasting, and efficient resolution of customer concerns.


This role is in Mason, Ohio and will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all logistics, both domestic and international
  • Strategize and plan the direction and goals for the global aftermarket sector
  • Lead the execution of the roadmap for the aftermarket business
  • Oversee the processes, practices and revenue for Latin America and North America
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction through sales, support, and service offerings in the aftermarket sector
  • Evaluate shipment data in relation to established goals and provide solutions to bottlenecks
  • Establish standardized procedures and practices across different regions around the world to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Oversee operational execution for the North American Aftermarket Team, ensuring they meet customer and financial performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Strategize and execute plans for transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
  • Align logistics operations with organizational objectives
  • Ensure accountability for meeting shipment due dates and on-time delivery
  • Collaborating with other departments and third-party logistics partners to resolve customer and supplier issues efficiently
  • Manage warehouse and logistics partner activities
  • Optimize warehouse layout and processes
  • Develop efficient distribution and routing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and import/export laws
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments
  • Act as the main point of contact for all customer issues arising on the operations side of the business
  • Collaborate with other groups and leaders to resolve these issues in a timely manner
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in all areas of Operations
  • Manage and support the companys other operational activities and projects to ensure smooth and efficient business operations


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven 7-10 years of Aerospace experience in operations management or a similar role(Multi-site experience a plus)
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Very familiar with aftermarket and logistics work
  • Motivated and a continuous learner
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions
  • Meet customer and business objectives with a sense of urgency
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and best practices
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools
