We produce, package, and ship an assortment of frozen food entrees for Private Labels and National Brands for both the retail and food service markets. Responsibilities of the Sanitation Supervisor:

  • Sanitation Supervisors are responsible for ensuring the safe work performance and behaviors of the production team members; coaching, motivating and correcting behaviors as necessary.
  • Developing and maintaining appropriate sanitation protocols including SSOP’s, Training materials, Safety measures, etc.
  • Working to develop sanitation team members and identify future leadership potential.
  • Ensuring Request Foods is thoroughly prepared for external/internal audits conducted at each facility.
  • Coordinating with the Food Safety team to meet the Micro/Chemical validation requirements of customers.
  • Efficiently produce the required amount of pounds/cases of scheduled product on a daily basis.
  • Actively strive to exceed all quality and food safety standards set by both Request Foods and its customers.
  • Meet all pre-determined manufacturing goals as set by the management team (ie, down time, hours paid vs. reported, safety AFR, schedule attainment, continuous improvement ideas, etc.)

The ideal Sanitation Supervisor candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Three plus years of food industry leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead a team of coworkers, coaching and motivating them towards a common goal.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and email.
  • Computer literacy is essential to be a successful Team Leader.
  • Great follow up skills, with a keen sense of urgency and a servant leadership philosophy.
