We are seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to join our team. The Computer Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the operations team responsible for the overreaching technology efficiencies and integration throughout the Company

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with managers to determine the role of IT systems in an organization
  • Research emerging technologies to decide if installing them can increase the organization’s efficiency and effectiveness. Provide systems analysis expertise and regularly considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
  • Use judgment and initiative to review, analyze and develop solutions and applicable business processes for business systems while identifying and quantifying the business impact of those solutions to ensure quality, cost effectiveness, timeliness, and customer service, including the resolution of large, complex production system problems
  • Prepare an analysis of costs and benefits so that management can decide if IT systems and computing infrastructure upgrades are financially worthwhile
  • Oversee the installation and configuration of new systems to customize them for the organization
  • Monitor the technical performance of internal systems to ensure its reliability and sustainability.
  • Coordinate the development of system support processes with IT and Operations Departments; coordinate daily to resolve production support issues, including application failures and user errors; document, track and report all system support activities

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related field -Information systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or 7+ years direct related experience.
  • Microsoft SQL and ERP experience required.
  • Solid mathematical aptitude and effective project management skills.
  • Strong background on QA and troubleshooting data.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with end users and co-workers.
  • Organized, accountable with good time management.
  • Strong adaptability and capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver.
  • Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
  • Self-starter; able to work independently or with a team.
