Summary/Objective:
The NetSuite Specialist will be responsible for and work closely with all branches of the finance and IT departments. This will include interacting with purchasing, pricing, finance, accounting, sales and marketing. In addition, the role will spend time utilizing the system and understanding how to optimize the use of the NetSuite tool, to improve productivity and efficiency of our team and organization. The NetSuite specialist will support each department by providing solution and offering support to meet the needs of the business. You will be responsible for managing system maintenance, administering system optimization and troubleshooting to solve any issue or concern for process improvement and team output.

  • Provide support and be the subject matter expert (SME) to users, company employees, contractors, suppliers, or customers.
  • Support the business operations with ongoing testing and updates.
  • Act as the point of contact to provide resolutions for end-users.
  • Lead report writing and analytics efforts for company financial information.
  • Lead data and/or related systems integration projects across the company business domain and specific to NetSuite, including implementing platforms, such as: Power BI
  • Perform integrity testing of system upgrades and development releases prior to migration to production.
  • Perform hands-on coding work on projects as needed.
  • Manage user creation/de-activation and password/account resets.
  • Document business objectives, use cases, business requirements, system specifications, workflows, and process documentation.
  • Create and update NetSuite User guides and training for process updates and new release updates.
  • Create reports and saved searches in NetSuite.
  • Train new and existing users as needed.
  • Fill functional lead or system expert roles on production and sandbox NetSuite environments and related systems.
  • Assist in the development of dashboards and operational reports to provide insight for teams, managers, and executives.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the platform testing application
  • Evaluate current state, research and implement effective solution designs to achieve defined business or process objectives.
  • Perform any other job duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in a technical background preferred or 3-5 years of direct, related experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a NetSuite specialist or relatable position.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience utilizing ERP.
  • Must be a super user in understanding and utilizing NetSuite
  • Complete understanding of NetSuite ERP workflow functionality and processes.
  • Hand-on SuiteScript experience to provide back-end customization.
  • Understanding of common industry-standard business practices in accounting, manufacturing, and warehouse management.
  • Demonstrates a high-level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to do independent technical work.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong focus of customer service and follow through.
  • Certified NetSuite Administrator (preferred).
  • Proficient with saved searches, formulas, reporting, dashboard creation, custom form creation, and workflow creation.
  • Experience generating reports and custom reporting with NetSuite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
