POSITION SUMMARY:

The incumbent Inside Sales Rep is responsible for responding to follow ups for quotations, developing new customer leads and following up on and maintaining existing customer satisfaction activities at Superior Thread Rolling Co. LLC. The incumbent will create Sales Leads and nurture existing customer relationships with the intent of increasing Superior Thread Rolling’s Service and Manufacturing revenues.  This position will require knowledge of Aerospace Machined parts and related manufacturing and thread rolling processes. The Inside Sales Rep works to broad policies and objectives that require considerable independent judgment, confidence and initiative. In the role you will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle from developing leads thru to customer satisfaction surveys and analysis.   In addition, this person will identify and act upon areas of needed improvement and be willing to assist with all other sales and marketing activities.

 

 

SCOPE:

The incumbent is primarily concerned with the generation and tracking of thread rolling and manufacturing services leads and sales activities to increase Superior Thread Rolling’s revenue. The key areas of performance are:

  1. Estimating and Quoting:
    1. Follow-up on targeted thread roll and manufacturing quotes.
    2. Present Manufacturing quotes to customer

 

  1. Existing Customers:
    1. The ability to follow-up and create a sales relationship with existing customers, both long term and short term
    2. To identify and evaluate past jobs and quotes and get feedback from customers about areas of concern. (Job History).
    3. Develop sales from existing customers.
  2. Develop New Leads:
    1. Understands Superior Thread Rolling’s and Manufacturing core competencies, which includes all processes, techniques, and capabilities.
    2. Develop new thread rolling and manufacturing services leads and customers.
    3. Understands grinding, thread rolling, and machining’s core competencies for all relevant materials and part configurations.
  1. Understands quality systems in accordance with AS9100. Familiarity with customer and aerospace industry specifications.
  1. Customer Relations:
    1. Providing optimum service to the customer.
    2. Respond to Customers quickly and consistently.
    3. Understands customer requirements.
    4. Builds long term relationship with customers.

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Maintaining Zoho Database
    1. Enter new customers and contacts in the Zoho Database.
    2. Updates Database after each mass mailing to delete any closed e mail addresses and add any new contacts revealed in the mass mailing responses.
    3. Sends out mass mailings.
    4. Evaluates data from each e mail campaign.
    5. Member of the Marketing team to create mass mailings.
  2. M1 ERP System Expectations
    1. Documents all follow up calls and emails in M1.
    2. Maintains Customer contact information in M1.
      1. Removes inactive customers.
      2. Adds new customers.
    3. Reviews the MFG and THD CoPilot Report regularly.
      1. Actively works to close and resolve all quotes to determine the cause of quotes that are not won
      2. Ensures all quotes have follow ups and are actively monitored until closure and resolution
  • Regularly updates the MFG Total Quoted KPI metric spreadsheet for:
    1. Total $ Quoted
    2. # Quotes Open
    3. % of Quotes Resolved
    4. Hit Rate
  1. Develop and regularly update the THD Total Quoted KPI metric spreadsheet for:
    1. Total $ Quoted
    2. # Quotes Open
    3. % of Quotes Resolved
    4. Hit Rate
  2. Customer Meetings
    1. Prepare Welcome Presentations and Welcome Signs.
    2. Participate in Customer Meetings.
    3. Deliver Welcome presentations to customers.
    4. Conduct customer plant tours.
