We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Bilingual Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team.

Job Description:

Position Summary: The Bilingual Community Outreach Coordinator will play a key role in fostering positive relationships between our firm and the communities in which we operate. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies, engaging with community members, and ensuring that our projects reflect the needs and values of the community. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community outreach strategies to engage local residents, organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for community inquiries and concerns, providing information and addressing issues in a timely manner.
  • Organize and attend community meetings, events, and workshops to promote awareness of our projects and gather feedback.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure community input is considered in project planning and execution.
  • Distribute bilingual informational materials, such as newsletters, brochures, and construction maps.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of community contacts and track outreach activities and outcomes.
  • Assist in preparing reports on community engagement efforts and project impacts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and other key stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at public forums, hearings, and other community events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, social sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Proven experience in community outreach, public relations, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse groups.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with the engineering or construction industry, and an understanding of construction plans is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the community as needed.
