QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or an equivalent
• Proficient in the English language
• Five (5+) or more years of managerial experience
• Five (5+) or more years of painting experience (automotive, aviation experience will be considered first)
• Flexibility to work any shift including evenings and weekends as necessary to meet deadlines
• Must hold an A*P License, or able to obtain a Repairman’s Certificate within the first year.
• Proficient in the English language
• This position is safety sensitive and is subject to DOT drug and alcohol regulations

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage paint quotes and shelf life products
• Maintain shop equipment
• Coordinate training and inform subordinates of proper procedures, methods and practices
• Encourage an atmosphere of participation by all employees in problem solving and maintaining service excellence
• Maintain employee work records and timesheets
• Coordinate with other Managers and Inspectors to ensure compliance with FAA and internal quality standards
• Plan, develop and maintain the flow of production
• Communicate effectively with employees, vendors and customers
• Enforce safety regulations and interpret company policies for workers
• Ensure employees use proper personal protective equipment when applicable
• Determine and hire competent personnel for the job tasks
• Ensure all work records are properly executed by responsible technician
• Determine the need for original and recurrent training of personnel consistent with work to be performed
• Delegate work amongst subordinates to maintain adequate labor levels
• Delegate work schedules, tasks and set goals
• Perform personnel actions
• Coordinate with other supervisors to meet production goals
• Evaluate equipment and workload in regard to the budget
• Manage meetings
