Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Roofing Technical Services Assistant / Shop Lead to join our team You will be responsible for performing tasks and shop responsibilities under the supervision of the Technical Services Director and Office Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist technical services team with various tasks and operations in warehouse shop or in the field at job sites.
  • Assist in necessary repairs to ensure the longevity and performance of the WeatherWeld roofing system.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of service activities, ensuring timely documentation of completed inspections and repairs.
  • Uphold WeatherWeld's commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Track inventory and supplies in the warehouse, ensuring their cleanliness and organization.
  • Ensure cleanliness and functionality of roofing installation equipment.
  • Fulfill material orders, including operating machinery and shop equipment.
  • Ensure the warehouse shop is always clean and well-organized.
  • Deliver supplies and materials to job sites as needed.
  • Operate a forklift to manage warehouse inventory when needed (forklift experience a plus).

Requirements:

  • Experience in commercial roofing with an understanding of identifying and addressing roofing issues, a plus.
  • Knowledge of various commercial roofing systems and materials, a plus.
  • Experience with and knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction materials.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and internal team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet inspection and repair schedules, and supplies and material delivery timelines.
  • Flexibility to travel to Northern & Central CA and San Diego area 1-3 times a month, to fulfill orders, deliver supplies, or maintain inventory.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.

$20-25/hr DOE, with opportunity for growth
