We are seeking a part-time Program Assistant to support our Family Access Center. In this role you will perform a variety of program, administrative and clerical duties to support the efficient operation of our Family Access Center. You will do this by: 
  • Performing comprehensive and administrative duties including but not limited to maintenance of filing systems, database entry, report compilation, file creation and scheduling management for intakes, parenting times and safe exchanges.
  • Assisting in the schedule management of intakes and parenting times or exchanges for the Family Access Center.
  • Managing and responding to emails and phone calls as well as other forms of communication from families in a professional and acceptable manner.
  • Working a schedule that is responsive to program needs, which may include evening and weekend hours.
This position requires extensive communication with the program supervisor to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional skills in MS Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook, database software, problem solving and analysis. They will exhibit detail-oriented planning and organizational skills. They will be goal-oriented and efficiently prioritize and execute tasks. They will work effectively with different types of people and demonstrate respectful, trauma informed communication skills in both internal teams and families receiving services.

An associate’s degree in human services, administrative support or related field and two years' of experience in volunteer management, human services, or program support is required. Five years of experience in these fields in lieu of a degree is acceptable. A valid driver's license, proof of insurance and dependable transportation is necessary for this position.
