Shift Times for the Machine Tool Builder:
  • 1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30/4:30 pm (Monday – Saturday), up to 60 hours per week
Position Responsibilities of the Machine Tool Builder:
  1. Develop build process/sequence from drawings and Bill of Materials.
  2. Fit and assemble components per drawings.
  3. Perform precise adjustments of mechanical assemblies per specifications.
  4. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues.
  5. Support a culture of Safety First and ensures safe work practices are adhered to.
  6. Support a continuous improvement culture throughout the department to simplify the processes, and continuous improvement of deliverables to internal and external customers.
  7. Support lean practices and concepts and ISO.
  8. Support the continuous improvement by identifying opportunities pertaining to the on-time delivery and quality/accuracy of work.
  9. Support quality assurance efforts.
