Position Summary: The Material Review Board (MRB) Administrator is responsible for managing and resolving MRB events (non-conformities) within the organization. This role involves identifying, documenting, and tracking MRB events to ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively. The MRB Administrator works closely with various departments to investigate root causes, implement containment and corrective measures, and prevent recurrence.
Key Results Areas by level of work:
Production quality and efficiency using appropriate tools and equipment, qualified to perform special processes as needed
- Working from such sources as engineering drawings, bills of materials, and customer specifications, will help characterize non-conformances on materials found in Warehouse or Manufacturing.
- Expedites and performs as a liaison as necessary between departments in reference to non-conformities.
- Maintains related files and records.
Follow instructions – oral and/or written
- Can properly read and interpret all blueprint, work instructions, and governing specifications.
- Will provide instruction and guidance to employees assigned to assist and as required
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager
- Able to locate the Quality Management System procedures along with having read and understand relevant procedures along with being aware of all procedural changes when they occur.
- Follow all Quality procedures to drive quality outcomes.
- Assist with root cause analysis to ensure that safety and quality problems properly evaluated and corrected.
- Compliant with all safety procedures to ensure proper protective equipment usage to ensure personnel safety.
Continual Improvement Suggestions
- Keeps an open mind to others continuous improvement suggestions
- Identify areas for improvement in process and product relating to safety, quality, delivery and cost and elevates them to the Quality Manager.

Job Duties:
- Gather and analyze data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to quantify process inefficiencies and track improvements over time.
- Ensure consistent status reporting of non-conformities in-line with department and site requirements
- Coordinate, assign, and track open actions related to non-conformities
- Verify and validate completion of open actions related to non-conformities
- Assist in continuous improvement projects, employing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management (TQM) to drive ongoing process enhancements.
- Assist in developing training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation to ensure that optimized MRB process is implemented
- Receiving and documenting MRB reports
- Conducting thorough investigations to determine root causes
- Coordinate and conduct daily cross-functional reviews of open MRB reports and actions
- Initiating and tracking containment and corrective action plans
- Maintaining detailed records and generating reports
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems and standards
- Ensure red tag (non-conforming materials) areas are cleared daily
- Coordinate replacement of non-conforming material to manufacturing floor
- Works with both Buyers and Supplier Quality to address Supplier non-conformances and related containment and corrective action plans
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, an individual must possess the knowledge, training, experience and abilities required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Experienced in process mapping and analysis tools
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
Skills:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Must have proficiency in MS office applications including spreadsheet, enterprise resource planning, database, and specialized application software.
- Ability and willingness to abide by set policies and/or safety programs established by GHM, our clients, and/or regulatory agencies which govern our performance and behavior in the normal course of our work while on GHM or the client’s property or job site.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be able to work in the U.S without sponsorship. Ability to obtain US government security clearance is desired.
