Job Title: HR Generalist - Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Franchise Group - 

Job Type: Part-Time, Remote 

Reports to: Controller 

Company Overview: We are part of a leading Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) company with a dynamic and fast-growing presence across 7 states. Committed to excellence in customer service and operational efficiency, we are seeking a part-time HR Generalist to join our remote team. The Human Resources department includes but is not limited to managing the employee life cycle, assisting in recruiting, onboarding, termination, insurance/employee claims, etc. 

Position Overview: As our HR Generalist, you will be responsible for spearheading recruitment, staffing, hiring, and onboarding processes for our QSR chain. Operating in a remote capacity, you will collaborate closely with regional managers and site leaders to ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a positive employee experience from recruitment through integration within our organization. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies tailored to meet the staffing needs of each location and department. 

  • Staffing and Hiring: Manage the end-to-end hiring process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and making hiring decisions. 

  • Onboarding and Integration: Facilitate seamless onboarding processes to ensure new hires are equipped with the knowledge and resources needed for success. 

  • HR Generalist Functions: Serve as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and compliance matters. 

  • Performance Management: Support performance management processes, including employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, and recognition programs. 

  • Employee Relations: Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. 

  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain accurate HR records and documentation. 

Qualifications: 

  • Associates in Business Administration, Human Resources certification or a related experience preferred. 

  • Proven experience in HR generalist functions, preferably within the QSR industry or multi-location environment. 

  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS). 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across diverse teams. 

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining high levels of productivity and professionalism.
