Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops, manages, and sells to new and existing accounts within assigned business segment through in-person sales and service calls.
  • Performs other work that furthers individual outside sales efforts including, for example, follow-up communication via telephone and written materials, planning and preparing for outside sales solicitation, preparing proposals and sales materials, providing tours of event and park facilities, and ensuring full account support to all clients regarding on site coordination of events and activities, etc.
  • Coordinate and host bi-weekly revenue management/remote sales phone calls alongside the property's General Manager.
  • Effectively coordinate with The client operational and sales teams to ensure outstanding service for all Stay-N-Play guests.
  • Drive sales to the modern meeting space that includes A/V Equipment and catering options.
  • Responsible for the overall sales and revenue generation of the property
  • Executes the training of all associates as it relates to the sales process to maximize revenues
  • Be responsible for maintaining compliance and up to date on new sales initiatives for the brand and company.
  • Assist with operational needs when necessary, including but not limited to front desk calls, breakfast operations, and more.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Hotel Sales Experience (Wyndham experience preferred), or 3 Years with a College Degree. (Hospitality Degree Preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Opera Cloud System Preferred
  • Must be dependable and willing to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure while multitasking, have strong organizational skills, and be able to pay attention to detail
  • Strong Communicator that can work independently
  • Ability to analyze revenues and communicate effectively all projected goals with the team
