Construction Project Engineer (Ossining, NY / Full-Time)

Our clients include NYS Office of General Services, Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, NYC Health + Hospitals, State University of New York, NYC Department of Design and Construction, NYC Parks & Recreation, NYC School Construction Authority, NYC Economic Development Corporation, Battery Park City Authority, and NYS Parks, Recreations and Historic Preservation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with on-site management to ensure project success
  • Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
  • Responsible for RFI and submittal process
  • Processes owner billings and project related accounting issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • OSHA 30
  • 8+ years' of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager on projects valued above $10MM
  • Knowledge of RFI tacking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, preparation of change order review, and the review of payments
  • Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards

Pay Rate: $30.00-$38.00/Hourly Salary. Actual compensation will depend on the individual’s qualifications, education, skills, and experience.
