Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for performing highly effective maintenance, testing, and best in class troubleshooting of our HVAC Fleet, specifically our large tonnage Air Conditioning equipment, all Chillers, and associated equipment. Responsible for maintaining and completing all required documentation of work performed.

Principle Duties:

  • Serves as Primary Chiller Technician for all large tonnage Air Conditioning equipment, all Chillers, and associated equipment stored at this location
  • This includes all troubleshooting, pre-deployment testing, and repair of this equipment
  • Completes Special projects such as research for obsolete replacement parts and refrigeration conversion options on our equipment
  • Will be a primary contact as our rental fleet becomes remotely monitored
  • Provides mentoring and training for new Chiller technicians and Service Technicians that are based in Mobile Air/Resolute Branches and Depots
  • Will be a key team member in our Turnkey program for chiller and large AC rental installations
  • Any other duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree in HVAC or refrigeration
  • 5-7 years’ experience with large tonnage HVAC and Chiller equipment, including applications of systems required
  • Demonstrated experience in repair of this equipment
  • Universal Certification required
  • Strong consultative and supervisory skills
  • Must be a self-starter and works with minimal supervision
  • Some travel required
  • Demonstrated PC skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • 1-2 years in purchasing or supply chain related role is required
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Requires computer proficiency, including internet, e-mail, order-entry system, MS Word and Excel, and other various software as needed
  • Strong organizational skills are needed for this position
  • Candidate must be detail-oriented, willing to take ownership of tasks, possess a positive attitude, and exhibit professional written and verbal communication skills
