Job Overview

Charlotte Restaurant is seeking a dynamic and creative Food and Beverage Marketing Supervisor to join our team. This role is ideal for a marketing professional with a passion for hospitality, food, and beverage, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a mix of strategic planning and hands-on operational work. The position will focus 70% on leading special events and promotions, including wine dinners, holiday programming, seasonal specials, social media management, OpenTable administration, and assisting with private dining experiences. The remaining 30% of the role involves supervising the restaurant floor, ensuring high standards of service, and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Floor Supervision (50%)

  • Service Supervision: Oversee the daily operations on the restaurant floor, ensuring that service standards are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Team Leadership: Support and guide front-of-house staff during service, addressing any issues that arise and maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
  • Guest Relations: Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, handling any complaints or special requests in a timely and effective manner.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of food and beverage service, working closely with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain excellence.

Marketing and Special Events (30%)

  • Event Planning and Execution: Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of special events, such as wine dinners, holiday programming, and seasonal promotions.
  • Promotions: Develop and implement promotional strategies to drive revenue and enhance the dining experience, daily & weekly food & beverage menu specials and themed events.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee the restaurant’s social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement to boost visibility and brand awareness.
  • OpenTable Management: Manage OpenTable reservations, ensuring accurate availability and maximizing table occupancy. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to optimize booking and guest flow.
  • Private Dining: Assist with the coordination and marketing of private dining events, working closely with clients to tailor experiences to their needs.
  • Marketing Materials: Create and distribute marketing collateral, including newsletters, flyers, and digital content, to promote upcoming events and specials.

Food & Beverage Admin Duties (20%)

  • Open Table Management: Manage reservations, create special events, and private dining reservation creation.
  • Micros Functions- Create new menu items, remove old inventory and run report data.
  • Menu management- Create and print menus for the food and beverage outlets as well as custom curae special menus for private dining.

Qualifications

  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools.
    • Knowledge of restaurant management software, such as OpenTable.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Availability: Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s event schedule.
