Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative will interact with the company's customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints
Core Duties & Responsibilities
· Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
· Maintains a positive, empathic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
· Collects and enters orders and invoicing for new or additional products or services.
· Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
· Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns.
· Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
· Provides support for the Account Managers.
· Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· At least 3 years of customer sales experience required.
· Excellent communication skills including active listening.
· Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
· Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
· Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
· Ability to multi-task and remain detail-orientated at all times.
physical demands:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
· Regularly repeat the same movements when entering data.
