**Responsibilities:**

- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the office

- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner

- Schedule and confirm patient appointments

- Maintain patient records and manage the check-in/check-out process

- Verify and update patient information, including insurance details

- Collect co-pays and other payments

- Assist patients with forms and any questions they may have

- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

- Handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Perform general office duties, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

- Assist with billing and coding as needed

- Keep the reception area clean and organized

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or medical reception is a plus

- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role

- Proficiency with medical software and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is preferred

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
