Our company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team of shipping and receiving clerks, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.


Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the shipping and receiving department

- Manage a team of shipping and receiving clerks, providing guidance and support as needed

- Ensure that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently

- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile any discrepancies

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods

- Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field preferred

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
