Simple Technology Solutions is looking for an IT Data Architect to add to our AI project team.

Quick Position Overview:

  • US Citizenship is required
  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Minimum of 10 years' position-related experience is required
  • Experience with AI and machine learning projects

The Role:

The IT Data Architect will play a pivotal role in our AI projects, designing and implementing robust data architectures to support advanced AI solutions. This role involves managing the end-to-end data architecture process, including data modeling, database design, and data integration. The Data Architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the effective and secure handling of data throughout the project lifecycle.

The IT Data Architect at STS will:

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures to support AI projects.
  • Develop and maintain data models, database schemas, and data integration processes.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to optimize data workflows and pipelines.
  • Define and enforce data governance policies and standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Provide strategic guidance on data management and architecture best practices.
  • Stay current with emerging data technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Document data architecture designs, processes, and procedures.

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning technologies.
  • Proven experience with data integration tools and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing solutions.

Preferred:

  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
  • Familiarity with AI-related libraries and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Certifications in data architecture or related fields.
