Position Summary:
Data Society Group is in search of a Cloud Solutions Architect to enhance our team. In this capacity, you will contribute to client-oriented projects while developing cutting-edge solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and uphold the infrastructure for significant clients, encompassing both commercial and governmental sectors, to facilitate their ongoing development requirements. You will be tasked with refining, automating, and evolving existing workflows while also crafting and executing your own innovative processes. This role provides a unique opportunity to leverage your entire skill set to devise optimal solutions tailored to our clients' needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the research and formulation of technical specifications
  • Develop features for internal and client-focused projects
  • Architect and enhance cloud infrastructure
  • Create cloud-based functions or applications
  • Deploy cloud applications and establish CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement security protocols for cloud resources
  • Oversee the maintenance of cloud applications
  • Support testing and troubleshooting efforts
  • Monitor cloud applications for performance and resource efficiency
  • Document coding practices and processes
  • Conduct code evaluations
  • Engage with clients
  • Facilitate project meetings

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
  • Extensive knowledge in:
    • Containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
    • Cloud application architecture
    • Microsoft Azure
    • AWS
  • U.S. citizenship with the capability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance is mandatory

This role offers flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the USA. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $140,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including Unlimited PTO, Healthcare Insurance, 401k, Metro Transit subsidy, Paid Parental Leave, and Paid Disability from Day 1.
