Senior Data Quality Assurance Engineer

- Lead the development and implementation of data quality standards and processes specific to asset management.
- Define and enforce guidelines for data quality assurance best practices across the organization.
- Design and oversee the execution of complex test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of asset data.
- Conduct and lead data profiling, cleansing, and validation activities to identify and resolve sophisticated data quality issues.
- Perform in-depth root cause analysis of data quality issues and develop strategic recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior asset managers, data engineers, data scientists, and other key stakeholders to understand advanced asset data requirements and ensure data quality standards are met.
- Communicate data quality findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and assist in the implementation of corrective actions.
- Represent the data quality team in high-level meetings and discussions.
- Develop and maintain advanced automated data quality checks and processes using cutting-edge tools and technologies tailored for asset management data.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for advanced data quality assurance processes, test plans, and test cases related to asset management.
- Generate and present comprehensive reports and dashboards to monitor and track data quality metrics and trends at an organizational level.
- 10+ years of experience in Upstream Oil and Gas operation, preferably onshore well pads, batteries, and gathering systems
- 5-10 years of experience in the execution of maintenance management activities and working with asset management systems (SAP and Infor EAM preferred). This would include work order management, developing preventative maintenance plans, developing maintenance work instructions, execution of condition based and predictive maintenance programs
- Experience in reliability analysis, investigations, and developing improvement plans
- Demonstrated experience in developing and documenting maintenance/reliability processes and workflows
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Must have a methodical and well-organized approach to the work environment and the ability to work under tight deadlines
- In depth knowledge of ISO 14224
- Ability to mentor and train junior engineers and data scientists
- Experience in asset management, data warehousing, or ETL processes.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to reliability engineering in the oil and gas sector.
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Finance, IT, or related experience
- Data Management Association (DAMA), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), or Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP)
- Certification in Reliability Engineering (e.g., ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer).
