General Description:

The Division Director is responsible for developing and maintaining the talent strategy, activities and financial health of a minimum of two Divisions. The Division Director will lead the divisions to growth and profitability utilizing the Company's core values of Integrity, Candor, Accountability, Respect and Excellence as guiding principles. Responsible for Division's success if/when Management is not available.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and grow nurse count as appropriate for multiple offices as needed as well as diversification of existing business
  • Develop quarterly sales, marketing and recruiting strategies to establish and/or expand staffing business
  • Identify and maintain training for all recruiting managers, recruiting coordinators and recruiting assistants.
  • Validate that all compliance and credentialing procedures are being followed; inspect as necessary. If there are unresolved compliance concerns, escalate as necessary.
  • Confirm that talent payroll requirements are met and any discrepancies will be addressed or escalated as needed
  • Oversee healthy P&L's to budget for multiple offices
  • Oversee accounts receivable to 0 over 90, as appropriate
  • Conduct daily meetings with offices and weekly one-on-ones with individual Division Managers (DM)
  • Conduct regional trainings to offices on "recruiting effectiveness" and other trainings as needed
  • Act as a support to other offices within Travel Nursing Division
  • Assist DM's with client contract negotiations, skill marketing, recruiting and onboarding internal talent, white board leadership, management training and other areas as needed
  • Train and mentor DM's on appropriate features of the Supplemental Advantages to meet talent needs as well as handle objections
  • Guide offices to appropriate associations/organizations to increase awareness of Supplemental Health Care and to promote local and national services
  • Assist Manager in all responsibilities and perform those tasks in their absence; these may include but are not limited to: reporting weekly numbers to CEO, facilitating weekly regional calls and other duties as necessary
  • Establish long-term business goals and projects with Manager; assist with preparations for board meetings, and divisional meetings
  • Address client and talent concerns and handle problems effectively and timely
  • Retain flexible schedules in order to service offices request and/or handle complaints
  • Hire, train, and develop office talent and coach/mentor to perform job requirements
  • Communicate and implement Company vision and initiatives
  • Manage internal and external company policies including Human Resources, Accounting and Quality Assurance
  • Create and maintain an environment of high morale, motivation, and teamwork; manage staff accordingly
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Talents
  • Minimum of 7 years equivalent experience required, preferably in the health care industry
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience required, preferably in the health care staffing industry
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in recruiting, staffing, production methods, human resources and/or similar or relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and rules of composition
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for selling recruiting services; this includes marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales management systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and with other team members
  • Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to travel to various divisions as needed
  • Must have a working knowledge of computers and software systems including Microsoft Office products and the Internet
  • Must have prior experience and/or basic knowledge of recruiting/sales
  • Must have excellent negotiating skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Must be able to work for prolonged periods of sitting, typing and use of the phone and computer
  • Must successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/trainings as required
