Preclinical development is also underway in coronary artery bypass grafts, pediatric heart surgery, treatment of type 1 diabetes, and multiple novel cell and tissue applications. Humacyte’s 6mm ATEV for AV access in hemodialysis was the first product candidate to receive the FDA’s Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy (RMAT) designation and has also received FDA Fast Track designation. Humacyte’s 6mm ATEV for urgent arterial repair following extremity vascular trauma also has received an RMAT designation. JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for additional colleagues for our expanding team. Candidates will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively as part of the Humacyte organization. Applicants must be highly self-motivated, with solid communication skills, and demonstrates the ability to work in a team environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Warehouse Logistics Associate III will ensure routine, non-routine and complex tasks in the warehouse are complete, including:
- Receiving packages and products for all areas of the company
- Picking Humacyte product to ship to customers
- Shipping product both domestically and internationally
- Periodic Cycle Counts
- Ensuring accurate documentation of activities in accordance with cGMPs
- Ensure the proper handling of chemically hazardous goods
- Advanced understanding of electronic business systems
- Leads projects of medium scope (e.g. operational excellence, safety)
- Create, develop, revise and update SOPs for the warehouse and applicable areas
- Supporting qualifications and validation activities
- Authorized Trainer on major tasks and equipment
- Recognizes issues and effectively solving atypical process issues
- Lead the collection and tracking of area metrics
- Lead team effort in the effective and timely completion of root cause investigations and CAPA implementation
- Comply with all safety related material handling procedures and equipment including operating fork-lift trucks and power pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all Humacyte Quality Management System (QMS), cGMP, SOP, and policies
- Strictly comply with all cGMP guidelines
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) and serves as a hands-on resource in Logistics
- Conducts all assigned activities in a safe and cGMP manner
- Other duties, as assigned

- Ensures Humacyte or other required trainings/certifications are up to date
- Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner
- Reports to work on time and as scheduled
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- 2–4 years of previous experience of previous experience as a material handler, warehouse, distribution, etc., required
- At least two years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred; appropriate food industry experience may be considered in lieu of pharmaceutical industry experience
- Required to lift and move smaller size materials physically
- Physical requirements including stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting of a maximum of 50 pounds
- Position may require working holidays, weekends and over-time
- Basic knowledge of cGMP requirements, preferred
- Previous MS Dynamics GP experience, strongly preferred
- Experience executing SOPs and documenting work, preferred
