Platinum Seniors Care, a home health and staffing agency located in Silver Spring, is actively searching for a committed Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our esteemed team. The LPN will be responsible for providing quality patient care and support in a home health setting. This role emphasizes outpatient services and medication administration, ensuring that each resident receives the highest standard of care tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior.
  • Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Educate patients and their families on health care issues and procedures.
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards of practice at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Current LPN license in the state of Maryland
  • Previous experience in a senior care or home health setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Experience

  • 1 year Acute Care experience (required)

License/Certification

  • State of Maryland LPN License (required)
  • CPR/First Aid Certified (required)
