THE ROLE


The Post-Graduate Clinical Fellow position focuses on building clinical skills and helping new therapists’ find their clinical voice. The Fellow will have opportunities to provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy. Learning opportunities include weekly didactic courses, clinical staffing, individual supervision, as well as hands on opportunities to observe and practice. The Fellow is thought of as a practitioner-scholar and is expected to be an ambassador for the agency. Their work will reflect our high standards for clinical practice, our connection to the local community, and our commitment to ongoing education and training. The position includes salary and benefits.


Clinical Opportunities

o Co-facilitation of interpersonal process group for Healing Choices Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

o Co-facilitation of aftercare groups, skills groups, and/or psychoeducational groups

o Individual therapy

Requirements:

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field required to be posted as of May 2024

• Relevant Licensure LMSW or LPC-I required; candidates not yet licensed but with a testing date confirmed may be considered

• Experience with substance use assessment and treatment (individual, group and family) a plus

• Understanding of DSM 5 diagnostic criteria for substance use disorder and mental health disorders

• Computer skills--Microsoft Suite and data entry experience required
