This role will work closely with the Operations and Service Manager to establish and uphold customer satisfaction standards, as well as promote a productive and motivated work environment. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and problem-solver, able to promptly respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person. Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, building lasting customer relationships, and managing the service team members. The role requires a deep understanding of industry standards, as well as the company's products and services. The candidate must possess a sales-oriented mindset and excellent leadership qualities to succeed in this role. They should also be able to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, the team, and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Delegating and directing service tasks.
  • Monitoring the progress of ongoing projects.
  • Assisting team members whenever needed to ensure timely project completion.
  • Overseeing the team's performance to ensure that objectives and sales goals are met.
  • Responding quickly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat business.
  • Handling administrative tasks such as creating quotes, managing and updating invoices, processing new orders, warranty claims, equipment registrations, and tracking inventory.
  • Improving dispatching and service productivity while enhancing customer service by resolving service and dispatch desk issues.
  • Closely monitoring issues and complaints from customers to develop methods to reduce recurring problems.
  • Conducting work and customer service audits to ensure that the company meets its high standards for efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintaining solid relationships with manufacturers, dealers, and sales representatives.
  • Training new team members in standard service procedures.
  • Scheduling regular training for team members to keep our team current with Plumbing and HVAC technology.
  • Maintaining a solid working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations, and remaining current on the industry's standards and innovations, materials, tools, and processes.
  • Self-motivated and able to work without guidance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Physical Requirements:

The job requires physical abilities such as lifting heavy objects and climbing frequently. Team members will be exposed to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and loud noises. Physical work includes standing, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, lifting, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The work environment may be hazardous and requires safety precautions and protective equipment. While in the office, prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, administration, or related field OR ten or more years of relevant work experience
  • Prior sales and management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the industry
  • Excellent leadership, communication, sales, and customer service skills required
  • Computer-literate and good organizational abilities
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary
  • Capable of working under pressure, working in a fast-paced environment, managing stress effectively, and emerging victorious from difficult situations.
