Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver nursing care in post-acute facilities
  • Adhere to and follow resident care plans
  • Monitor residents' physical and mental well-being, including vital signs
  • Conduct health assessments and document medical histories
  • Administer medications and monitor their effects
  • Review and maintain residents' medical records
  • Contribute to a safe and comfortable care environment
  • Manage medical supply inventories
  • Assist with IV setups, immunizations, and phlebotomy
  • Support the orientation and training of new medical staff

Qualifications and Skills

  • Current license to practice as a Practical Nurse
  • Completion of an accredited Practical Nurse educational program
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience
