Administrative Assistant

Overview
- The position is responsible for creating invoices, managing cash flow and creating plant schedules.
- Hours: Typically 40 hours a week.
Responsibilities could include but not limited to:
- Manages traffic flow in the office, incoming calls, ensures a tidy office environment, setups-up meetings.
- Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence; copying information.
- Maintains supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; stocking items; delivering supplies to workstations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting failures; calling for repairs; monitoring equipment operations (i.e. paper, toner, etc.).
- Filing, scheduling, travel needs, new hire help, various special project.
Qualifications
- Office Experience - General, Scheduling, Telephone Skills, Typing, Documentation Skills, Meeting Planning, Verbal Communication, Written Communication, Dependability, Attention to Detail, Administrative Writing Skills.
- Plan, organize and implement routine and special projects assigned by supervisor.
- Be able to work and act in a professional manner and exercise independent judgment in the resolution of administrative problems.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively is required.
- Have an understanding of the operation of all office equipment such as a computer, printer, copier, fax machine, and calculator/adding machine.
- Must possess Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
- The ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other software programs to meet the needs of the position is essential.
- Must pass and maintain a client required random drug tests
- Have a background investigation
- Cleared to operate a company vehicle
- Have a professional appearance
- Must have a valid drivers license and clear driving record.
