The QC Leader will ensure that products meet the highest quality standards and oversee the quality control processes

within their assigned shifts. You will work closely with production staff to identify quality issues. Performing quality

  • Perform quality inspections and tests on plastic cups/bottles including visual, and dimensional measurements following the SOPs that are in place.
  • Lead and supervise quality control activities to ensure that all products meet company and industry standards.
  • Complete and maintain detailed reports on quality issues, inspection results, and process improvements.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of reports.
  • Conduct regular audits of production processes, equipment, and facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and mentor QC Technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance and professional development.
  • Facilitate clear communication between the quality control department and other production teams, ensuring that quality issues are promptly addressed.
  • Identify and analyze quality issues, implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
  • Provide training and support to QC Technicians on quality control procedures, techniques, and best practices.
  • Adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures as well as OSHA/FSSC standards.
  • Comply with all Quality, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP requirements, programs and concepts.
  • Comply with Environmental compliance, energy savings, and recycling requirements.
  • Comply with Safety requirements including but not limited to PPE, LOTO, Emergency Preparedness, machine guarding and safety rules.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
  • Proficiency in quality control methodologies, report generation, and audit processes.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of quality control and reporting.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and developing a team.
  • Able to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work on multiple levels (mezzanines, ladders, steps, etc....).
  • Able to work under extreme conditions (small space, hot/cold, wet, noisy, etc....).
  • Strong math and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Windows based systems as well as other PC/Control Equipment.
  • Must be able to work under pressure during stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts (up to 12 hours) as determined by business needs.
  • Must be able to maintain work standards as it pertains to Safety, Quality, and Teamwork
