Duties/Responsibilities

  • Prepare press-ready/digital collateral for in-house and outside advertisements.
  • Prepare and stage informational, promotional and/or event print collateral.
  • Maintain inventory of signage and conditions of creative department hardware on property.
  • Develop knowledge of ordering, receiving, and staging of print collateral from vendors, print-houses, etc. as well as delivering to requested/respective departments.
  • Organize and prioritize projects delegated through project management system to ensure proper deadlines are met and allow advanced publicity of advertisements.
  • Maintain advertisement signage mapping and scheduling on and off property.
  • Maintain casino floor advertisement playlist and systems.
  • Produces collateral materials for promotions, advertisements, informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets in a time sensitive manner.
  • Remains abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization.
  • Applies commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within graphic and visual design.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Produces and develops works under the guidance of Sr. Graphic Specialist and Creative Supervisor.
  • Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.

  • Participate in open communication and provide feedback to management regarding operations, staffing, personal development, and operational productivity.
  • Serve as a contributing Team Member of the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians enhancing the Casino’s operations in all its business endeavors.

Education / Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age, or older.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Able to work with PC and Mac Platforms for navigation and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and other software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point required.
  • Ability to provide a portfolio with physical or online graphic work, highly desirable.
  • Any combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with all department staff members as well as vendors.
  • Ablity to meet strict deadlines.
  • Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.

Certificates, licenses and registrations

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
  • Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
