1. **Front Desk Management:**
- Greet and assist parents, children, and visitors upon arrival.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures for children.

2. **Administrative Support:**
- Handle correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of children, including attendance, enrollment forms, and emergency contact information.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating events, meetings, and activities.

3. **Financial Duties:**
- Collect and process tuition payments and other fees.
- Maintain financial records and assist with budgeting and reporting.
- Prepare and distribute invoices and receipts to parents.

4. **Compliance and Reporting:**
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
- Assist in preparing and submitting required reports and documentation to regulatory bodies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of staff certifications and training.

5. **Communication:**

Qualifications:

**Experience:** Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a daycare or educational setting.
**Skills:**
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and daycare management software.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Working Conditions:
- This position typically involves working in an office within the daycare center.
- The role may require occasional lifting of office supplies or materials.
- The administrative assistant may interact with children occasionally, requiring patience and a friendly demeanor.

Additional Information:
- **Schedule:** Full-time, typically Monday through Friday. 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
