Maintenance Technician III


The primary duties of a Maintenance Technician III are the maintenance and improvement of our properties to ensure safety and appearance. Complete repairs in vacant apartments, residential apartments, and common areas. EPA Certification and Valid Driver's License are required.


The Maintenance Technician III will work in a variety of environments under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and the oversight of the Capital Maintenance Officer. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm benefits-eligible position providing occasional emergency on-call assistance in Clearwater, Florida.

Required Experience:


  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Three to five years experience in various trades including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, appliances and/or electrical maintenance and repair, elevator systems, and painting.
  • Computer proficiency in Windows operating system and MS Office software.
  • Possession of a valid EPA certification.
  • Possession of valid Florida Drivers License.
Necessary competencies:


  • Safety, fire prevention, and first aid techniques.
  • Measurement and mathematical calculations.
  • Operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to work in a variety of conditions and locations including confined areas, rooftops, underground spaces, etc.
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • HVAC experience required.
