DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking capabilities.
  • 10+ years in a regulatory affairs role within a federally regulated industry
  • 8+ years of management experience
  • Thorough understanding of DSHEA, 21 CFR 101, and 21 CFR 101.36
  • Proficient in project management and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and in-depth knowledge of cGMPs.
  • Familiarity with US and international food and dietary supplement regulations.
  • Advanced degree in a science-related field, with extensive experience in regulatory affairs and team management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and high-level math skills for label calculations.
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE? As a VP of Regulatory Compliance, you will spearhead the company’s regulatory and compliance efforts, ensuring alignment with FDA regulations for dietary supplements and FTC guidelines for claims. This role involves overseeing the regulatory landscape, providing guidance on labeling, and conducting regulatory and legal risk assessments for domestic and prospective international projects.WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Develop and implement recall strategies and compliance policies.
  • Conduct internal audits and GMP inspections of production sites.
  • Lead and manage the compliance team for vendor and supplier adherence.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and their impacts, ensuring product compliance.
  • Collaborate with legal and quality teams to meet FDA and FTC product labeling and marketing standards.
  • Serve as the primary contact for FDA inspections and manage customer complaints.
  • Oversee all compliance documentation and reporting
  • Communicate external regulatory changes and their impacts on product sales
  • Create proactive regulatory strategies for new product developments
  • Update procedures in collaboration with management
  • Perform gap analyses on business models and SOPs
  • Train staff on regulatory procedures
