Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Coordination:

    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
    • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  2. Execution and Monitoring:

    • Oversee the execution of high voltage distribution projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
    • Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing as planned.
  3. Team Leadership:

    • Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
    • Provide clear direction, mentorship, and support to team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  4. Stakeholder Management:

    • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
    • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing solutions.
  5. Quality and Compliance:

    • Ensure all project activities adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
    • Implement quality assurance processes and conduct regular inspections.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  6. Budget and Resource Management:

    • Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
    • Track project expenses and prepare financial reports.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage procurement of materials and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing high voltage electrical distribution projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of high voltage systems, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
